3. Formal legal notices

A notice with legal effect (contractual notice, demand, claim of infringement, service-related notice) must be in writing and delivered both:

Notice is deemed received on confirmed courier delivery, or five (5) business days after posting by registered mail, whichever is earlier. Email alone does not constitute formal notice unless we confirm receipt in writing.

These are service targets, not contractual guarantees, except where a signed agreement or statute sets a binding deadline — the statute or agreement then controls.

5. Escalation procedure

  1. First contact through the channel above for your subject.
  2. Escalate to legal@scre.me with "ESCALATION" in the subject if the target response time passes without an answer, or the answer does not resolve the issue.
  3. Principal review: escalations are reviewed by a principal of Something Wicked, Inc. within 10 business days.
  4. Dispute resolution under Terms of Service §9–10 if still unresolved: good-faith negotiation, then binding arbitration seated in the City and County of San Francisco, California (with the consumer and injunctive-relief carve-outs stated there).
